EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) therapy is an advanced treatment that involves the use of ozone to purify and oxygenate a client's blood. It is a form of oxygen-ozone therapy that aims to enhance oxygen delivery to tissues and improve the body's natural healing processes, with several potential benefits such as:

Boosting oxygen levels: The ozone may increase the amount of oxygen in the blood, improving circulation and tissue oxygenation.

Detoxification: The therapy is thought to help eliminate toxins from the bloodstream and improve immune function.

Enhancing the immune system: Ozone is believed to stimulate immune responses, potentially helping the body fight infections and inflammation.

Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) is a systemic treatment that mixes ozone with blood taken from the patient. Once mixed for a short period of time, the ozonated blood is then intravenously infused back into that individual.

This therapy has a cumulative effect so that each treatment builds on and enhances the effects of previous treatments. For acute infections, frequent treatment may be necessary initially.

Ozone can be utilized as a preventative therapy, an increase in athletic recovery, a decrease inflammation, and so much more including but not limited to, the ailments noted below with UBI.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why add this option to your major auto-hemotherapy (ozone) treatment?

One Vasogen study showed that when pairing the two therapies, there was an 83% increase in effectiveness of inhibiting platelet aggregation. Specialists also recommend that each of these therapies have different tasks. Ozone modulates the immune system, while UBI is able to kill bacteria and viruses. When they work hand in hand, their powers are amplified.

How does it work?

Blood circulates through a medical device where it is exposed to a therapeutic UV band of light waves (ultraviolet light). The blood is then returned back to the patient by IV. In the process, the smaller bacterial and viral cells absorb five times as much ultraviolet energy as their healthy counterparts. The healthy cells remain intact while the diseased cells are killed and become antigenic (which means to stimulate the production of antibodies). This allows the body’s natural immune system to burst into action against even the most stubborn (antibiotic resistant) bacteria or virus

Breathing Ozone through olive oil, aka, ‘BOO’, is a simple treatment option utilizing a nasal cannula. When ozone is bubbled through oil it creates ozonides, lipid oxidation products. Those molecules retain therapeutic properties of ozone without damaging the lungs. BOO can help with a wide range of respiratory issues such as asthma, COPD, bronchitis, colds, allergies, congested sinuses, mold, and more. This is also a great option for kiddos!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ozone IV therapy and why is it helpful?

Ozone IV therapy involves administering a mixture of ozone and oxygen into the bloodstream through an intravenous (IV) line. It is believed to enhance oxygen utilization, improve circulation, and promote healing.

What conditions can ozone IV therapy help with?

Ozone therapy is often promoted for various conditions, including:
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Infections
  • Inflammatory conditions
  • Circulatory issues
  • Pain management

How is the treatment administered?

Ozone IV therapy typically involves:
  • Drawing blood from the patient
  • Mixing it with ozone in a sterile bag
  • Reintroducing the ozonated blood back into the patient via IV

How long does an ozone therapy session last?

A typical ozone IV therapy session lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the specific protocol used.

How many sessions are recommended?

The number of sessions varies based on the individual's health goals and conditions. Some patients may benefit from a series of treatments, while others may require maintenance sessions.

What should I expect during and after the treatment?

During the treatment, patients may feel a sense of relaxation. Afterward, some report increased energy levels, while others may experience mild detoxification symptoms, such as fatigue or headaches.

Are there any side effects to ozone therapy?

Most people tolerate ozone therapy well, but possible side effects can include such as below. We do require a complimentary consultation prior to starting your first ozone treatment, and will discuss these at that time as well.
  • Mild discomfort at the injection site

How can I find a qualified practitioner?

Look for licensed healthcare professionals who specialize in integrative or alternative medicine and have experience with ozone therapy. Always check their credentials and reviews. Our providers are Ozone certified, with additional IV Nurses being trained hands on with our certified provider. In addition, we are constantly keeping up with trainings to provide you with the best care around!

What's the difference between Ozone Therapy (Major Auto-hemotherapy) and EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation)?

EBOO and MAH are both forms of ozone therapy, but they differ in how they are performed and the types of conditions they might be used to treat. The decision between choosing EBOO and MAH would depend on factors such as the severity of the condition, the client's health status, and the specific goals of the therapy. EBOO is generally chosen for more severe, chronic, or complex health issues requiring potent systemic effects, while MAH is often chosen for milder or preventative purposes, offering a less intense alternative. Both therapies rely on ozone’s therapeutic effects, but the scale and intensity differ! EBOO sessions also last longer, about 60 to 90 minutes, compared to MAH sessions that last 30 to 45 minutes. Schedule your complimentary consultation today to discover which option is best suited for you!
